About Peter James Salter

Horror Artist | Illustrator | Creative Entrepreneur At the start of 2024, I took the leap to focus fully on my art career, and it’s been an incredible journey so far. I’ve built two art businesses: PillyArts, which I run with my partner, and PJArts, my personal outlet for creating dark, atmospheric, and horror-inspired artwork. With PillyArts, I sell original prints, paintings, stickers, magnets, and take on commissions, sharing my creativity with people who love unique, handcrafted pieces. PJArts, on the other hand, has become known for my intricate pointillism fine art pieces, pushing the boundaries of horror art in a way I’m really proud of. Before diving into my art full-time, I worked as a Full Stack Developer gaining a tech stack of React, Next JS, Tailwind, Playwright, Java, Spring Boot, Python and Figma to craft applications and strengthen my ability to promote myself as an artist. My background is a mix of art and tech—I have a BA HONS in Illustration and Visual Media from UAL. This shaped my creative problem-solving approach, and I’ve built up solid development experience through an intensive bootcamp with Founders & Coders and time with Wiley Edge. Now, I’m all about combining these skills to make an impact, whether it’s through horror art that tells a story or by staying open to future creative and technical opportunities. Let’s connect—I’d love to chat!
