Experienced Senior Architectural Technologist currently working with Ardmac Ltd. delivering architectural fit-out on Hyperscale data centres and Battery Production Plants for multinational clients across UK & Europe. I have a wealth of experience in various construction sectors including commercial, industrial and residential and I am currently working in both the Wallonia Region, Belgium and the North East of England leading The fit out design of 2 major facilities. Key Accountabilities • Provide guidance and assist in the development of junior members of the Ardmac design team • Manage an award-winning team of Architectural Technologists, Structural engineers and M&E engineers to deliver a complete design of Fire rated and Clean & Dry Room construction. • Provide expert Design & Engineering support and guidance to Construction Operations teams to ensure compliance with all aspects of the build. • Assist with and advise on procurement of building materials & internal procurement processes • Liaise with Client Team to bring clarity to the scope of deliverables. • Consult with expert Fire consultants and Building Control officers to ensure compliance of Passive Fire Protection throughout the construction phase • Manage Document and Drawing output. • Manage technical submittals and schedules. • Organize and Co-Ordinate constructability reviews with Ardmac Project Team. • Comply with Ardmac Design Procedures. Key Tasks • Preparation of drawings & schedules and obtaining client approvals. • Product selection for application (fit for purpose & technical). • Product detailing & interfacing with other components and materials. • Co-ordination with Mechanical, Electrical and Process services. • Manage the issue/receipt of the drawing design information. • Raise/Respond to design stage RFUs and COVIs • Maintain accurate records. • Comply with design criteria laid out within the health and safety plan. • Preparation of O&M / H&S file at project completion. • Comply with design stage programmes. • Identify Long Lead Materials to assist procurement. • Attend site meetings as required. • Assistance in preparation of tender proposals.
