About Peter Jensen

Solving challenging software, hardware, and security problems has earned me the respect, trust, and confidence of colleagues and staff at every level in the organization. I take pride in successfully handling complaints of trustees and escalated problems assigned to me by the company president. I bring self-discipline, a knack for service, and a solid work ethic to provide caring and efficient service. At one company, they called me “The Mayor” because I helped everyone there. My fascination with software and hardware, combined with my eagerness to learn new things and build my skills, got my tech career started. I have done and seen it all – from picking orders in a warehouse; to installing software; to equipment inventories; to cleaning up the wiring closet; to going on service calls. I became the IT support person for First National Bank of Chicago, and was recruited away to handle IT top-level support at the Tribune and University of Chicago. The variety, daily challenges, and continual learning opportunities are what draw me to this work. Every day is an adventure - something new. I believe any problem can be fixed, and learn by seeking out opportunities to further my knowledge through on-the-job and formal training, reading & self-directed research.
