About Peter Jolley

Hi my name is Peter and I am a junior developer with strong skills in Web development such as ReactJs, Html, CSS JavaScript, NodeJS, Tailwind and Bootstrap. I completed a Bootcamp in Fullstack development at the University of Adelaide in 2022. Ive just completed an internship at Marango as a junior developer and worked on 3 projects in ReactJs and NodeJS. I have completed several projects including Espresso Express where I created a Fullstack Ecommerce site using React and Node JavaScript which resulted in a fully functioning Ecommerce site. Below are some of my key skills i have gained along the way. • Front-end Development: Experience in developing front end apps using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript using libraries in JS especially using React. • o SQL: Skilled in database management using SQL for the collection of data in the backend. • o Back-end Management: Experience in using NodeJS, GraphQL, and Apollo server to store product information and data in the backend design of an e-commerce website. • o Front End Design: Experience in using Bootstrap and Tailwind to create a classy and professional UI for 4 different websites making the end-product appealing and in compliance with the client criteria. • o Application Programming Interface: Experience in using REST API’s architectural style to allow the client to communicate through get and post requests to receive data. • o GitHub: Experience in using Git and GitHub for version control— Git Bash is used to manage all code changes in the local machine and Git Merge and pull requests are used in GitHub.
