About Peter Jones

In a time when companies strive to have a positive impact on people and our amazing planet, I am privileged to be part of a team that drives change and helps businesses make decisions based on the effect they might have on society and the environment. As Head of Sustainability, I develop and deliver holistic sustainability and ESG solutions to improve performance, governance, growth and profitability while also helping society as a whole.Strong communication and strategic leadership skills have proven invaluable both at Ikano and during my time with IKEA, especially in helping senior stakeholders fully understand the importance of compliance across climate, biodiversity, CSRD and various ESG frameworks. These skills are also essential for building, empowering and inspiring talented teams who are dedicated to improving business performance and environmental impacts. As someone who is both strategic and pragmatic, I have embedded sustainability mindsets into businesses and earned a reputation as a thought leader in my field. I have ensured corporate governance, reduced harm to the climate, and helped improve biodiversity. Through these experiences, I have seen that it is only when we truly understand a complex issue, that we can make the right decisions, and this is where I contribute the most.
