He began his career working in government agencies before spending over five years in public accounting followed by an additional six years in industry in the controller function. Peter holds a B.A. in Accounting from Franklin University, a Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Denver, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio.
