About Peter Kan

I am a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist, Fellow of American Association of Integrative Medicine, and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner I have dedicated my practice to helping people with chronic conditions that have not responded to other treatments or who have not met their health goals using other methods. I am the creator of NeuroMetabolic Integration, a revolutionary approach to treating chronic conditions by addressing the whole person, not just masking the symptoms, through the combination of functional neurology and functional medicine. Patients from across the country have come to seek out my integrative approach and I am proud to say this is truly changing the lives of those suffering from chronic conditions. My practice focus is on thyroid and autoimmune disorders. 90% of my practice is thyroid and/or Hashimoto's cases. I also treat neuropathy, chronic digestive disorders such as Crohn's and irritable bowel syndrome, traumatic brain injury, and balance disorders. Born in Taiwan and immigrated to America at the age of 13, I have a deep appreciation of the Eastern wisdom and Western advances in natural healthcare. I believe in the God given ability of the body to heal and regulate itself, and that the body, mind, and spirit must be in alignment for healing to take place. My faith in God has given me the passion and commitment to help patients with chronic pain find hope and healing. I have been in private practice since 2002, has started several successful practices in California and Arizona and served thousands of patients. I regularly consults with over 400 doctors on the methods I use.
