About Peter Kerr

With over 30 years'​ experience, I have acted for many of Australia's largest and most well-respected banks, financial institutions, commercial enterprises and tertiary institutions. I have wide experience across banking law, financial markets and corporate governance. I am a non-executive director of PAN-Tribal Asset Management, Community Board Member of the Physiotherapy Board of Australia, Member of the National Sports Tribunal, Member Combat Sports Authority of NSW, Board Member Cronulla RSL Memorial Club and the Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation. I chair a private PNG oil & gas services company, Oilmin Field Services and am a former director of the Cronulla Sharks NRL Club and Chair of Sport Knowledge Australia. I represented Australia as a member of the National Men's Water Polo team and have had a deep involvement in sport administration having served as President of Water Polo Australia from 1996-2014. I have been a Member of the FINA Doping Panel since In 2018 I was appointed by the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) as the Oceania Member of the Independent Ethics Commission of ANOC. I am a Member of the Order of Australia (2008) and a recipient of the Australian Sports Medal Recipient of the 2018 NSW Olympic Council Order of Merit. Life Member of a number of organisations including Water Polo Australia and Carbine Club of NSW. At the Opening Ceremony of the Sydney Olympic Games I was honoured to give the Judges' Oath.
