About Peter Khella

When I wrote my first lines of code I was 13 years old and Yahoo Geocities was still blooming. I was young and the tech world was still new. It felt like magic how lines of code could build the interactive websites being used daily. A magician is someone skilled in producing illusions via sleight of hand or deception. Coding felt like an illusion and I just didn’t believe I could ever be a skilled enough magician. Although my interest in Web Developement was strong, my Automotive Technology interest was stronger. I became an antomotive tech at age 18 and continued my career in the feild for 14 years. Within those years of my professional experience I maintained roles that challenged me and fostered continuous learning environments. I have always been passionate about learning. This is what drove me to learn more about Wed Developement and Tech. I relate to this field as it is constantly pushing boundaries and evolving. In each role, I consistently demonstrate the drive to curate solutions and innovate. Never satisfied with the “doing just enough” mentality. With the successful completion of General Assembly’s program, I have enhanced my skills in Frontend Web Development. Code isn’t magic and web developers aren’t magicians. I am an innovator, technician, and a forever student. I am now a Web Developer.
