My expertise is in people development, sales, and marketing. I have a deep and varied background. Have lived, worked, traveled in multiple countries in many cultures. Multilingual. C-level public company experience as well as start-ups and private equity backed companies. I'm most interest in board work, or contract roles as an interim executive focused on sales, marketing and people development activities to create profitable revenue growth. As a child I was raised in the NYC cosmopolis. I spent summers and holidays in the West Indies and Mexico. My family and others in my community taught me to observe and enjoy the world for its multicultural richness. I desired to study the tapestry and history of nations and peoples. I sought adventure in travel and my career and continue to learn. I furthered my education in Latin America and Europe. I was encouraged by a family of artists, writers, filmmakers, and advertising people. I blend a background in media and communication to influence marketing and promote sales with new ideas and competitive solutions. A career spent with leading multinational advertising agencies and companies provides a lifetime of experiences. I was trained and then later in my career learned to lead diverse global teams on behalf of the world’s greatest brands. As an executive I worked with the most talented people in the entertainment and media industry, and the CEOs of major companies at Unilever, Pepsi, P&G, IBM, Intel, and Compaq. I was part of great teams to create marketing that changed the sales growth trajectory for consumer & technology products and services that improve our lives. Co-founded a major digital marketing services company that subsequently went public. Today I work with smaller, family owned, entrepreneurial companies to help them with growth strategies with predictable, sustainable, and profitable revenue. I apply the experience and teaching of my mentors to help others. Together we enjoy success and overcome challenges in the organization and business. I serve as a board advisor or interim executive for sales, marketing, or general manager. We map a strategic plan and I lead the execution to help the team attain the desired outcomes.
