About Peter Kondratjeff

I am a solution driven person. My ambitions are always to target for the best possible results: may that be deliverables for a customer, a cooperative partner, an internal development project – or just when developing my own skills. I get inspired by working in environments where joint goals are achieved by people having a positive and kind mindset, ability to take responsibility for common development and readiness to give that small addition for the group to be proud of its achievements. I have a degree in Naval Architecture and a versatile combination of technical, operative, production and commercial skills. My proven track record is about- successful technical operations management within the fast-paced global offshore shipping industry including full responsibility of maintenance coordination and emergency repair services- management of ship design teams and coordination of multidisciplinary design tasks- design of multiple ship types and multidisciplinary technologies including renewable energy sources- coordination of ship building processes- cooperation with international authorities to ensure safety at sea- establishment of long-term partnerships within the global shipbuilding industry. In addition, I have specialized in redundant automation systems of offshore dynamic positioning (DP) ships, navigation and communication systems, redundant propulsion systems and power generation machineries. Other specialized skills cover complex deck crane systems, Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) facilities and helicopter landing area facilities to mention some. My skills and experiences are adaptable in certain aviation industry positions. On my free time, I am an active member of a sail racing team as a sail trimmer, with deep insight in sail aerodynamics. I do also work as an alpine ski instructor which gives myself refreshing alteration to the day work.
