Experienced and seasoned professional in public and private real estate sectors. I’ve been the agent, the owner, the project manager and the strategist. I understand commercial real estate and it’s unique position in organizations. It’s a big cost center, it influences employee satisfaction and performance and it’s a moving target lately. It can be an organizational strength, weakness, opportunity, threat or often all 4! My career has led me from the transaction level to the strategic planning level. In my current role I lead our organization’s asset business planning program which governs strategy for a real estate portfolio of over 8,800 assets and nearly 370M sf of controlled space. My belief is that you get what you measure. And you should measure what you aspire to get. This is very doable with clear objectives and mature analytics. Both equally important. Both can often be elusive. Currently exploring how AI might make this task a little easier going forward 🤔
