During my tenure at Luno, I made significant contributions as an integral member of the "Know Your Customer"(KYC) team. I successfully onboarded millions of customers while maintaining a stringent focus on fraud detection and prevention. With my attention to detail and analytical mindset, I played a key role in ensuring the integrity and security of our customer base. Currently, I am actively involved in developing and enhancing our broker and ledger system, prioritizing scalability and reliability. Recognizing the criticality of these systems to our organization's functionality, I am dedicated to optimizing performance, enhancing fault tolerance, and implementing robust data management strategies. In addition to my professional accomplishments, I have undertaken notable personal projects. One such project is a full stack application that leverages data analysis and machine learning to recommend optimal times and locations for surfing. By combining real-time weather data, wave conditions, and user preferences, this application empowers surfers to make informed decisions and maximize their time in the water.
