Experienced EHS Specialist with a background spanning emergency medical services, renewable energy, marine operations and offshore safety training. Currently leading Environment, Health and Safety for Copper Coast Renewables, an EPC company delivering rooftop, ground mount and car port solar PV projects with grid connection across Ireland and the UK. PHECC registered and NEBOSH qualified, holding both the NEBOSH International General Certificate and NEBOSH Incident Investigation. My career combines frontline paramedic experience with technical and regulatory safety management across complex environments including wind turbines, construction sites, Americas Cup racing campaigns and the international cruise industry. IPAF certified for MEWP operation and MEWP for Managers. Also qualified as a Work at Height Instructor and Harness Inspector, supported by a wide range of industry recognised training relevant to high risk and specialist environments. Previous roles include Remote Medic and Authorised Technician (AT) on wind turbines with GWO certification to Advanced Rescue level, along with senior safety and medical positions at Alinghi Red Bull Racing and Orient Express Racing Team. Responsibilities included rescue operations, global EHS compliance and all aspects of medical coordination, from day to day medical needs and emergency response to managing company medical insurance and its practical use across multiple jurisdictions. Currently responsible for full lifecycle EHS support from planning through to project handover. This includes PSDP and PSCS compliance, stakeholder engagement, RAMS preparation and review, contractor insurance checks, safety statement review and verification of operative tickets, training records and calibration/inspection documentation. I also manage all employee training/certification, assist in maintaining ISO certification, recently achieved EcoVadis certification and responsible for client PQQ's. Additional experience includes service as a Paramedic Officer with Princess Cruises, Control Room Dispatcher and Frontline Paramedic with the National Ambulance Service, and national Casualty Care Trainer for the RNLI, managing & delivering lifesaving training across Ireland. I have also lectured on Seafarer medical programmes at NMCIMTU and SEFtec Offshore. A safety professional & ACLS paramedic committed to competence, accountability and continuous improvement with a clear focus on delivering high standards of EHS performance across all environments, from design right through to project closeout/handover.
