About Peter Leake

As of January 2022 I officially joined the hallowed ranks of ‘retired people’! I know, hard to believe but nevertheless true. That said, my 10 years of being self-employed, after 38 years at British Leyland and Jaguar Cars Ltd, I would not have changed it for the world. But do we really ‘retire’? I have just taken on a role as Director of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club whilst remaining on the Committee of The Fellowship of the Motor Industry and the Old Ellesmerian Club, and to top it all I have joined the Committee of the Jaguar Long Service Association, so possibly busier than ever! So, what can you expect from me moving forward? Good question. I fully intend continuing my relationship with the Jaguar brand through lectures to clubs and business associations around the UK, which continues to give me great pleasure - and the audiences, too, judging by their reactions! I will continue to be actively involved in the Fellowship, and hopefully encouraging more Motor Industry colleagues to come and join our thriving community of like-minded folk who have enjoyed their time in our great industry and wish to continue their association with it.
