About Peter Low

Peter has over twenty years experience in the design and management of Building Services, mostly in consultancy but including experience in specialised M&E Design and Build. Joining Henderson Warnock in 2006 as a mechanical Associate, Peter has been leading the mechanical design team and is the in-house first point of contact for most design projects Peter is responsible for the design of all aspects of mechanical systems and the production of mechanical design drawings, both manually, use of AutoCAD and BIM Level 2 modelling (using Revit). He has gained experience in complete design elements within multi-disciplinary design team including interpreting design brief, preparing ventilation, heating, air conditioning, water services and site services layouts. Since 1998 Peter Low has been involved in projects within the residential, retail, leisure, education, private, commercial, health board, MOD and prison sectors. Peter has a wealth of experience in many complex serviced projects where he has been responsible for design, onsite coordination and managing the commissioning process with subcontractors and commissioning engineers. Peter is also a specialist in Low and Zero Carbon building designs with a wealth of Knowledge on sustainable building design and is on the Industrial Advisory Panel for the Building Services BEng & Masters Course at Glasgow Caledonian University.
