About Peter Luey

Hey, welcome to my profile! Born and raised in Oregon by two loving parents, I'm a polymath at heart with an affinity for all things technology. I have a knack for problem-solving and min-maxing absolutely everything. I got into computer science and programming from my passion for video games. Like many others, I myself wanted to go into game development. However, this later shifted to an interest in artificial intelligence when I learned of its possibilities and limitless potential to change the world. Now, see artificial intelligence as the next biggest technological leap since the internet. Having a passion for video games, they are a rather large part of my life. So much so, that I play competitively. At Oregon State University, I am the team captain for the Apex Legends JV team. As team captain of the JV team, I'm responsible for organizing the team and keeping us active in participating in tournaments and competitions. Here are some quick facts about me: 1) I love to philosophize and think deeply about various subjects. I also love discussions that can change my perspective. 2) I'll often get into new hobbies and interests all the while picking up new skills. 3) Quite tolerable and resilient to whatever life throws at me. 4) Dog person! 5) Stoic as stone on the exterior, soft and caring deep down.
