My present position is Siemens Industry CS Regional Service Manager a position held since January 2012 being promoted from the position of Customer Support Regional Team Leader The position I held from February 2008 after Siemens acquired Emsby Pty Ltd in May 2007. Before the acquisition I held the position of Manager, Technical Support (WA) at Emsby, being recruited by Emsby from South Africa in September 2001 where I was working for Control Techniques (formerly Siliconics) as Technical Manager from 1997. Prior to this I was the Service Manager for 3 years, starting with the company as Service & Commissioning Engineer in January 1992. Prior to the Service related business I held the position of Maintenance Manager for Haz Products moving on from Memix Carbonless a paper plant where I was Senior Technician gaining six years experience in the paper industry mainly on variable speed drives on paper machines but also other equipment and plant associated with the paper industry, from Steam to Pneumatics and Hydraulics. Qualified at Escom (Electricity Supply Commission, S.A.) then moved on to work in oil refinery.
