About Peter M.

Peter, is an experienced business executive, who has significant experience in Infrastructure and Mining projects in Australia and South-East Asia as well as in technology companies. Peter has large gold producer company experience and proven on-the-ground track record internationally in managing operations and the development of scale greenfield assets, continually delivering operational success. Notably, Peter founded Heritage Minerals (a gold/copper project in Australia that has a special history) and held the role of Commercial Director and Company Secretary, which acquired the historic mine leases from Mount Morgan in central Queensland. Peter had the responsibility of advancing this Project from Feasibility to bankability and construction along with all operations. A technically challenging project, with many failed attempts by previous owners. Under his leadership, this project was successfully implemented into construction following raising of the capital, which Peter led. Peter more recently has had Director roles for both WorleyParsons, Heritage Minerals and GreenGold Group, in which he was responsible for all business functions, including, finance, HR, business development and delivery. Peter sees opportunities. For close to 20 years, Peter has demonstrated capability across project phases from feasibility assessment through to operational handover including developing execution and contracting strategies, securing approvals including key stakeholder negotiations and project financing from arranging to financial close. Peter is the named inventor on numerous patents and has been extensively involved in commercializing these technologies. Technologies include both technical such as the diverless suite and gold cyanide recovery technologies and the digital, such as Darwin Ledger, a citizen science, philanthropy platform. Peter holds Non-Executive Director roles in six Australian companies and Executive Director roles in 5 Australian companies, 5 Indonesian companies, 4 Singapore companies and a Canadian subsidiary. Peter holds Executive Director roles and oversees commercial and delivery operations for the Group. Peter's earlier years included Infrastructure Director for WorleyParsons (Western Australia) and the Global Lead for Ports, in which he gained significant experience in developing countries and has undertaken mega project (Pit to Port) in Sierra Leone, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Abu Dhabi, and Timor Leste.
