About Peter MacRae

Peter is a registered architect with a keen interest in mixed-use, infill, and transit-oriented projects. Having rejoined Merrick Architecture after a 3 year hiatus to broaden his experience in public infrastructure and transportation architecture, Peter brings experience with both public and private sector client groups. In his role as Project Architect, Peter is adept at navigating design sensibilities, regulatory requirements, and client interests. Peter’s recent work crosses a variety scales and project types, from boutique heritage infill to multi-modal transportation, high-rise rental housing, and master planning. Recent experience includes Project Architect for the winning RFP response for market and rental housing at Gordon Avenue + 22nd St. in West Vancouver. Peter is also managing design development for a 47-storey mixed-use tower at Burrard and Davie which is a significant project at the gateway to the Davie Village in downtown Vancouver.
