About Peter Marsden

A highly experienced sustainability practitioner having delivered a wide range of evaluation and assessment studies for the public and private sectors in the UK, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South Asia and the Far East. As a proven SEA/ESIA practitioner, I have been directly responsible for the assessment of over 100 infrastructure projects, programmes and strategies within a number of legislative jurisdictions, and have worked to World Bank and IFC requirements; also closely involved in the development of Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) methodologies and was the co-author of the Irish Government's SEA Guidelines. More recently, I have advised clients in the oil & gas, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, nuclear, transportation and consumer products sectors on strategies for integrating sustainability and carbon management objectives into their corporate governance and operational activities and has provided direct advice on investment and resource allocation decisions.
