A bit about me: As an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer / Project Engineer, I have found it fulfilling to lead design teams toward our common goals within projects that I have been involved in throughout the years. Experienced in new facility equipment / utilities, plant expansions, material handling, electro-mechanical systems and pollution control systems. Since graduating with an Associated Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, I now have approx 70 percent of the credits required to obtain my Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have found my various projects very rewarding to myself and profitable for the companies that I work with. Leader of projects from concept through completion, including meeting with customers, estimating costs in the sales process, then coordinated the project through the final field commissioning. Responsible for the entire design, development, cost accounting, project scheduling, weekly status reports and cost-to-complete reports for projects. I am well versed in communicating with customers, vendors and within my own organization through written and verbal communications skills. Born and raised on an east-central Kiel, WI dairy farm, I have a unique hands on / can do attitude about mechanical engineering with the technical know how and intuition required to successfully and safely bring each of my assignments to a profitable and predictable conclusion. A man who is in shape, Passport Ready, willing to relocate and travel for the right job. Has the ability and time to work extra hours on crunch projects to get these projects to get back on schedule. Available to hit the road under emergency conditions to address need now situations in a variety of industries. Can provide one-man site supervision of complex installation efforts for a variety of systems, including process piping, hydraulics, pneumatics, material handling systems, electrical work and general complex equipment installation supervision. Specialties: Strong background in R&D, AutoCAD, MS Office, OSHA, ISO, sheet metal, welding, structural steel, hydraulics / pneumatics, electrical controls and complex machinery designs. I am a motivated manager of multi-functional design team members while simultaneously managing multiple projects.
