About Peter Mazzella

Hi! My name is Peter Mazzella (he/him) and I am a graduate of the University at Buffalo. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Law and a B.A. in Psychology. My goal is to pursue a career in Public Interest law and serve those who have been systematically underserved and disadvantaged in our legal system. My first experience working in Public Interest law was with the Volunteer Lawyers Project, where I worked in their Family Law division. I also have experience working as an office clerk at Stafford Owens Law, where I opened and closed files, sorted and distributed mail, and delivered documents to various firms and government agencies. I hope to attend law school in the near future and I am excited to continue on this path of public service. Currently, I work as a College and Career Readiness Advisor for CFES Brilliant Pathways. In this role, I am located at Beekmantown Central School District where I work with 7th through 12th graders. My duties range from developing essential skills with younger students, to providing college and career tours, helping with college applications, and advising students on financial aid opportunities.
