About Peter McDougall

Currently I am in the position of an Operations Supervisor (Dive Boats) for QatarEnergy (previously named Qatar Petroleum). Prior to this I have been employed as an IMCA saturation closed bell supervisor, saturation offshore construction manager and air diving offshore construction manager. With over 28 years’ experience in the subsea offshore oil and gas industry, my career has largely been focussed in heavy subsea construction. I combine my extensive training with a desire to exceed objectives in order to produce work of the highest quality. In recent times, I have served as a saturation diving supervisor, air diving supervisor, offshore construction manager and bridge superintendent on projects involving the installation of 36’ spools and risers, the laying of cable, the repair of clamp installations, the installation of heavy-duty (4ton) rectification and bracing clamps and the installation of concrete mattresses, as well as audit processes and administration activities.
