ACHIEVEMENTS: • Appointed as GeoMarket Security Adviser to Schlumberger in Southern and Eastern Africa. Managing the risks in each country where operations are ongoing. Including countries: Angola, Namibia, South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia and Madagascar • Presented at East Africa Oil & Gas Security Infrastructure Conference in Nairobi in June 2013 • Appointed as Security Advisor to Schlumberger Technical Services in Angola. Implemented the contingency planning for the 2008 parliamentary elections. • Established technical measures to reduce the theft of Laptop computers from company offices. • Active member on the OSAC working group in Luanda, Angola for the preparation of planning for September elections. • Undertook a program of Personal Security Awareness training to 1100 personnel due to the increase in criminality in Luanda. • Managed Field Security Officers and physical security of offices, residences, personnel and assets on a major Pipeline project in the Republic of Georgia. • Delivered security for all Business Unit personnel & contractors in Angola, on and offshore in a period of High Risk and achieved more than three years without a Security related lost time incident. • Coordinated/managed a guard force increasing to 170 personnel for the protection of personnel & assets in Angola. • Established a network of Luanda Oil Company Security managers to jointly assess the risks of operating in a High Risk area. • Set up and managed a mixed security force for the UN in Mogadishu from different ethnic clans and achieved a harmonious team which gained greater accessibility to all parts of the city in an extremely high risk period with no reportable incidents. • Managed all movements of UN personnel within the city of Mogadishu during intense inter-clan fighting. • Undertook the Security Journey Management planning for the highest ever UK threat assessment on a Protected Person in the Metropolitan Police.
