About Peter Morfea

A highly qualified ATAR, IB Diploma, MYP and Australian Curriculum (AC) teacher with more than 15 years of experience, I have a keen interest in curriculum development and am passionately committed to promoting the academic, social and emotional development of all students. I am collaborative teacher with an open style of communication, who has high expectations first and foremost of myself, while remaining strongly focused on excellent academic achievement for all students, emphasising 21st Century learning skills and personifying the belief that adolescents don’t care how much you know until they know that you care. Committed to lifelong learning, I have a demonstrated history of professional development and further study in Assessment for Learning, Cultures of Thinking, educational leadership, careers counselling and in the aims of education.
