As a Solutions Architect and Software Engineer at NCBA Loop, I’ve led the design and implementation of key banking systems, including a real-time Instant Payment Notification (IPN) system that improved transaction visibility and reconciliation across digital platforms. I also contribute to system architecture, backend engineering, DevOps, and process optimization using Spring Boot, Node.js, Flutter, PostgreSQL, and microservices. My work enables agile, scalable, and secure solutions that support thousands of daily users while mentoring junior developers and collaborating across teams. Before NCBA Loop, I worked at Ronford Digital, where I focused on building high-quality, scalable systems that met real business needs. My foundation in Computer Science from Moi University gave me the grounding to deliver practical and efficient solutions across different industries. Notable projects I’ve led or contributed to include: CRM system – A customer relationship management tool to streamline leads, communication, and support. eCommerce platform – A full-stack application with online payments, delivery tracking, inventory, and customer engagement features. HRMS – A system that manages payroll, leave, and attendance tracking for organizations. POS system – A point-of-sale platform for tracking inventory, generating invoices, and managing transactions in real-time. Scoring Engine – A backend service integrated with CRB and M-PESA to assess creditworthiness and loan eligibility. Survey System – A platform to collect and analyze customer feedback for improved service delivery. Document Management System (DMS) – A secure platform for organizing and sharing sensitive documents with access control and audit logs. Earlier in my career at Elsan Mechanical Engineering, I focused on integrating software systems that enhanced operational workflows, with emphasis on security and performance.
