About Peter Nikolauson

I am a technology enthusiast in a way. Been using and tinkering with PC computers since 8 years old. It was in the early years I started troubleshooting software and driver issues, mainly due to Windows ME OS. We all know that was a disaster operating system. All throughout high school I was involved in the technology world. It was here I took Cisco Networking 1-4,It Essentials, and dedicated Microsoft: Word, Excel, Power Point classes. Tried a go at a home business specializing in website design, Internet marketing, and early stages of programming around 2004-2009. Then shortly after this point I took a leap and joined the Army. Here is where I worked on mostly radar equipment, but also did many other maintenance related work as well. My work also had me working with a Raytheon Field Technician a lot. This technician help teach me about many industry level traits as well as working on the radar equipment. Graduated September 2015 at Devry University for Technical Management focused in programming. Here is were I studied business development cycles, programming "C++, Java, VM, Javascript, OracleSQL", business management, and complex organization operation theory. Here I was part of a couple large projects two which included marketing plan to re-image John C. Fremont Hospital in Mariposa county and a smart home technology project emphasizing centralized database for a better future. Currently working as an Intern with GE Healthcare. This position emphasizes my many skills and has largely built on my military skills. Highlights to note are complex system upgrades, installations, and system removals. The more crazy moments are changing gradient coils and making adjustments to how the procedure noted to do so. The second time was only two people and changed how the brackets and jacks are placed to avoid the issues of not being able to remove them after removal of the gradient coil. Currently seeking employment in a permanent position.
