About Peter Ntege

Healthcare management professional and medical doctor with 12 years of management experience, most of it in private equity backed organizations. I have a track record of building winning teams and high-performance cultures, prioritization of investor funding & optimization of investments, creating cost effective healthcare models, government and private stakeholder engagement, and strategic management of human resources for health. I have managed a branch network of 12 outpatient centers in Uganda, part of a multinational corporation in East Africa (AAR Healthcare Holdings). I have led a tertiary multispecialty hospital, part of a multinational healthcare ecosystem of 3 hospitals and 18 clinics in 3 countries in Africa (Ciel Healthcare). International Hospital Kampala is the oldest and biggest private hospital in Uganda with 133 beds, caring for over patients annually. Currently, I oversee the operations and strategic growth of 3 hospitals with a consolidated total of 300 beds, a homecare subsidiary, and retail pharmacies under Avenue Group in Kenya which also runs 16 outpatient centers.
