About Peter Nymberg

My dissertation was performed in September 2021, the doctoral studies started in October 2015. During this time, my research has focused on my major interests, changing lifestyle habits, physical activity and mindfulness. My dissertation contains various methods such as interviews, a randomized controlled trial and epidemiological studies. As a part-time researcher, I have spent a lot of time at the clinic as a district nurse at a health center in Helsingborg. During the clinical period, I have been the project manager, at the Health care center, for a local project focusing on lifestyle habits among people with mild mental illness funded by the National Board of Health and Welfare. In addition to the research and the clinical time, I have been involved in the nursing education (~ 40h / semester) and supervised master's theses in the special nursing education (District Nurse). In my leisure time I like to be in the nature and walk or run, another way for me to relax, is riding the motorcycle on curvy roads. My family consists of a wife, four grown children, a cat and a dog.
