About Peter Ohmart

After working in the trucking industry and construction industries, I entered college and a university to further my secondary education. Upon graduation, I began my own business in safety and health consulting in the trucking, construction, and general industry specializing in teaching management and the labor force, assisting companies to locate problems and produce solutions, increase a stronger bottom line, increase employee involvement, lowered employee loss time, and reduced injury and illness claims. • Develop and implement new policies while updating current ones • OSHA Outreach Trainer • Teaching small and large groups • Results driven • Conduct audits and inspections • I have assisted union and non-union companies to work in unison • Analyze, define, diagnose, and resolve problems • Ability to develop, coach, and mentor others • Develop and communicate informative presentations My #1 goal is having employees want to come to work, help management produces a positive work environment. My passion is teaching companies how to work in harmony, getting to know the people they work with, and whom they work with, and be able to speak on a first-name basis. During my off time, I assist animal facilities in any way needed, produce a massive vegetable garden during the summer, and enjoy music, movies, sports like college football, major league baseball, and being a softball statistician for local teams, and enjoying the company of others. SPECIALTIES: DOT and OSHA Training, audits and inspections, sculpting protocols and policies, producing emergency procedures and preparedness, improving the communication of staff, motivational leader, research and observation, working with union and non-union employees and management, accident-incident investigation, and classroom and online training.
