About Peter Parajos

My legal education allowed me to gain a general overview of the legislative possibilities in Slovakia and put the need knowledge for business opportunities in Slovakia. However, I never saw myself as a lawyer in a company or as an attorney. It was not for me. My inner voice push me to move on. It was May 2016, and I remember it as if it were yesterday. I actively searched for a position where I could utilize my language skills and negotiation abilities. So, I directly approached IPS Logistics s.r.o, even though they were not actively seeking new employees at that time. I went through the interview process and eagerly awaited the results. And I got it. After five days, I received the news that they were hiring me as a freight forwarder. From that moment on, my new journey began. I ventured into a completely new field without any real experience but filled with enthusiasm and excitement. From day one, I immersed myself in my new role. After completing the initial training, I started reaching out to domestic and international clients on a daily basis. Gradually, I began building my portfolio of clients as well as carriers. In a relatively short period of time, I fully established myself in the freight forwarding market. During almost five years in this position, I executed thousands of shipments, negotiated lucrative business terms with elite companies in the business environment, managed all missing payments, and handled with complaints. In 2020, I've got a new job opportunity: Managing Director. Years of hard work and dedication paid off. My responsibilities expanded. From a position where I was solely responsible for myself, I suddenly found myself in a leadership role, leading a team of experienced freight forwarders. I embraced this new position with all my might and got to work. I had almost complete decision-making authority, and I always aimed to use this "power" to motivate and mentor the freight forwarders. APRIL 2021 MY DREAM COME TRUE. I BECAME THE OWNER OF IPS Logistics s.r.o. Since then, we have achieved several milestones: September 2021: Fully functional hybrid work model (home office vs. office) December 2021: Relocation to newer, more modern, and more representative working place March 2022: Opening of a new corporate branch in Prešov Year 2022: Achieved the highest turnover exceeding 6 million euros since the establishment of the company I actively participate in personal development by reading books, attending seminars, gain valuable information through membership in individual interest associations.
