Background

About Peter Pekny

Currently, I am an IT technical specialist with over 10 years of experience working with almost all commonly used IT technology standards and infrastructure devices. I am an employee of Diebold Nixdorf, working as an application administrator for several internal applications, including VynamicView and TransactionMiddleware. Diebold Nixdorf provides monitoring of ATMs and payment transactions for various external customers. I am responsible for managing approximately ATMs through VynamicView and devices via TransactionMiddleware. My key responsibilities include ensuring a fully operational 24/7 environment, setting up all necessary applications, and coordinating with other teams to design and implement the required infrastructure architecture. Additionally, I handle and resolve non-standard customer requests under time pressure. I consider myself a team player, and I enjoy discussing potential issues and finding ways to prevent problems before they occur. I am highly results-oriented, with a strong ability to learn new technologies quickly. I also enjoy meeting new people and easily adapt to multiplatform team environments. Personally, I am interested in transitioning to a DevOps engineer role. I appreciate the responsibility, flexibility, and overall philosophy behind this approach to system management.
