About Peter R. Bailey

For 15 years I’ve led communication and engagement strategies, internal and external – in highly complex stakeholder environments for organizations that have significant daily impact on community and customers. From crisis response around airborne acid spills, to fortune 500 financial results, through advancing two-way engagement in transit development, and managing change for employees in a transforming grocery sector – the entirety of my career has involved developing narratives across business areas that shift attitudes of target audiences. As a people first leader, I take pride in finding creative ways to inspire those I work with, including direct report teams of 5 or more and in highly matrixed cross functional workplaces. I have had the privilege of learning from and supporting CEOs and senior management teams at some of the largest organizations in the country, helping each manage and measure toward business objectives in times of immense change at both business and sector levels. I connect the numbers and story — creating systems of storytelling. When configured well, these are processes and channels capable of growing reputation. However, managing reputation is messy, non-linear work – sorting through the noise, simplifying strategy at all levels of the organization has been foundational to my success in business.
