About Peter Raffai

Step #1 (or how it all began) As interested in automotive industry since my childhood, after graduating from high school I decided to earn my degree in automotive engineering. After reaching my goal in between "livin'​ the american dream"​ for over 2 years I looked further and continued in doctoral studies to go pro- Step #2 (or have I already seen something real?) Speaking widely acknowledged languages are important they say, so I've chosen English. To master it I studied grammar until it was enough for a Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English, practiced pronunciation in NYC. Then it was time to show off in Honeywell's SDE department dealing with international vendors. Later, gaining valuable experience and knowledge followed at Škoda Auto R&D department. During my doctoral studies I've started learning German, been to various internships which further contributed to allow me to dig deeper in the automotive industry- Step #3 (or where I moved on) After graduating from the university I chose to move closer to my family. So, at the moment I work for Audi at the Hungarian powertrain R&D facility, where I contribute to the development of conventional and alternative powertrains of today and the future. I am still a huge fan of continuous self development, so that is how I take use of my day after day gained experiences and that is how I do my best to prepare for the chances of tomorrow-
