Background
About Peter Ranken
I am an experienced Architect and Passivhaus Designer and have designed a number of Masterplanning, Housing, School, Health and Extra Care projects, with a focus on low energy high comfort design. I am passionate about sustainable building design and hold an MSc in Environmental Design and Engineering from University College London. I have been a Certified Passivhaus Designer (CEPH) for over twelve years, completing over 20 certified Passivhaus buildings as both architect and Passivhaus designer, including the first Passivhaus building for the NHS at Foleshill Health Centre. Within Tooley Foster and its subsidiary, Accredited Passivhaus Design I am responsible for ensuring that the office is up to date with current sustainable and regenerative design. Current projects include an 102 apartment assisted living scheme, and Passivhaus developments for one off houses and social housing, including 99 flats in Newham and 142 flats in Ealing.
