Diverting temporarily from my normal line of work, I now have the opportunity to introduce a new way of increasing the number of students entering the STEM fields. Odysseus Quanticus is the name of my company that offers a special textbook which allows students with only a rudimentary knowledge of middle-school math to experience solving real-world engineering and other quantitative problems! A "learn-by-doing" style in which problems are presented in a much more inclusive "solve-the-puzzle" style to show students that they are, in fact, quite capable of solving math and engineering problems.
