About Peter Richins

Leading people and forming teams is my passion. Individual people are at the heart of every team and are what makes everything move. Leading and training those people is what I do. Thanks to my experiences in volunteering as an Eagle Scout and as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ, I got to see how people's life challenges can affect their ability and view of themselves. This also gave me lots of experience in teaching and training people in mastering any skill that comes before them. All of these ideas came together for me in my current role as an Operations manager for FedEx Ground. I mastered the individual skills that team members needed, then taught and trained individuals and formed teams from the groups of people that work together. Whatever background people come from, each language, skill set, and experience works together with others to create success.
