About Peter Ruczynski

I design, develop and deliver multi-tiered web based applications using MVC, Agile, LAMP and TDD technologies making use of data from many varied sources such as simple text files containing SGML to fully fledged RDBMS based back ends. I have used PHP5, PHP7 and the Laravel, Symfony and Zend frameworks, created Web service APIs, used GIT for version control (including both gitlab and github), PHPUnit for unit testing, Jenkins/gitlab for deployment, BEHAT as a functional/acceptance test tool and all in a AGILE/SCRUM environment. Once a month I participate in the Reading Repair Café, helping people who have problems with their computers for free. I am also helping RISC to maintain and improve their web site and have helped run a robotics class for children. I am a keen photographer and play music, with a number of albums released and numerous concerts performed all over the world with the band AirSculpture. I am also one of the coordinators of (and occasional speaker at) the PHP Berkshire meetup group, helping to put on informative and entertaining talks to the local PHP community.
