About Peter Runesson

I'm an Experienced Design/Engineering Manager with a long background within R&D and product development, where +15 years are in a leading position. As such I´m used to act within a global environment where it is important to maximize the development efficiency over multiple design sites. Responsibilities range over the entire design cycle from early phases, product definition, systemization, design, release and production optimization. Working with development processes and continuous improvements have been an integral part of this. My primary experiences are within RF & Radio, antennas, electrical and PBA design, where I'm working with leading global suppliers of components and design tools on daily basis. This require an ability both to collaborate and act as stakeholder setting objectives and targets. From leadership point of view I've been coaching project managers, designers as well as expert employees and have learned that a flexible leadership is key for motivation and success. I'm a person with strong integrity and set high standards for myself and the team. This is combined with a strong drive to "win", originating from a keen interest in sports. Looking ahead I believe I can make most impact in a position leading leaders, working strategically acting on the coming trends and at the same time support execution of ongoing product development.
