About Peter Simonsen

My main interest have always been in electronic media and show production. Today I work as an electronic media inventor at RealFiction. I have since 1988 been working with nearly all kind of electronic media production, spanning from video installations, radio and television to internet based solutions and interactive electronic media.I dream about and believe that computer games in a near future could enable the user to create film entertainment out of cinematic video capture tools in apps based on smartphones and generated as storytelling inside computer games. Imagine a near future where People take part of a film competition like xfactor for film fans, but based on a game, like a film production game. The fictional worlds they create, are realized inside the computer game in a photo realistic 3D space, using the smartphone to capture sound, position coordinates, motion data and photo texture of the friends playing out scenes on the street and where everywhere, indoor like outdoor could be a large green screen studio. Giving all the kids on the block a powerful film production machine in their hands, like puppet theater on steroids, just in a digital version. That could be fun and cool to play withat the moment we try to create the display for an experience like that.
