Twelve years in the Caribbean included managing restaurants, hotels and marinas, and led to running a yacht charter company. A 2 year sabbatical involved travel across the United States, Asia and Australia, before returning to the Caribbean with his future wife Holly to work as captain and cook team on top-end luxury private and charter yachts. The life-long passion for adventure was only slightly modified by the arrival of the first of two amazing daughters, and precipitated the founding of the "Avalon" enterprise, which combines travel, wine, food and hospitality and allows Peter the opportunity to indulge his other love, writing.
