About Peter Sokol

An IT professional with over twenty years of experience, with diverse skills, qualifications and in-depth knowledge in the production environment (systems, processes), software development and customer services. My career has been evolved in different roles, different challenges and in many places in Europe, mainly in the field of MES and other production systems (e.g. QDE/MDE/BDE/PPS), software development, customer support, both on the customer’s and on the supplier’s side, where I was not only a manager but also an IT employee, administrator, responsible for system integration, consultant, analyst, tester, trainer, programmer, project manager, recruiter, mentor and expert of processes in production environment. I have led small, medium and large teams. Software developers, IT staff, as well as project teams involving various departments. In addition to being communicative and flexible, I can manage, with an overview, critical situations, to provide for the prompt solution of problems and continuously improve processes. I was preparing customer workshops, specifications and presentations, budgets, I made their review and monitor the proper use of the effective support for established customer business strategies, activities and objectives. I always managed to deliver the required quality at the required quantity and time.
