Have managed teams of up to 200 staff at a time, with direct reports averaging 30. Have worked in the rag, restaurant and catering trade as well as banking and the liquor industry for varying periods. Specialties: Financial services, Product, Project, Marketing & Retail management. Stock ordering, stock taking, staff management, training and motivation. Have also amassed a wealth of experience in Industrial Relations. I am an excellent leader and mentor. In the South African context, I am considered an expert in the National Credit Act, having implemented the changes required so that mine was the first product ready for the new legislation well in advance of the due date. Have also provided advice and assistance to the rest of the bank including WesBank and the FirstRand Group. I am well versed in PCI, POPI, CPA as well as FAIS, FATCA and FICA. I have an working knowledge of the code of Banking Practice, The Companies Act, Electronic Communications Act, HLMDA, National Payments System & OHASA having been a health and safety officer on a number of occasions. This knowledge allows me to turn my hand to most things and gives me the confidence to take on challenges and projects successfully most find intimidating.
