About Peter Stanislaus

I hail from a suburb just north of Chicago. My father, a successful business leader with an unwavering and steadfast work ethic, instilled the same in me at a young age. My mom is a therapist who works with victims of psychological abuse and sexual assault and has always prioritized helping others over personal gain. At 14, along with my father, I became obsessed with cycling; I raced all over the country with him and worked at a bike shop in the corporate management office. Cycling taught me discipline, dedication, and grit—3 prominent facets of my personality that continue to enable my success today. After high school, where I excelled in creative writing and AP English, I moved to Milwaukee to race bikes and attend college. By the time my junior cycling career was over, I was a multi-time state champ. Wanting a more creative outlet, I moved to Los Angeles and attended the Los Angeles Recording School having always been passionate about music. While I greatly enjoyed the lifestyle and working with iconic musicians, it wasn’t conducive to having a family, which is when and why I made the transition to hospitality. My past few roles in the industry at my previous company, Pouring With Heart, has given me a crash course in both creativity and business. Some of the results I‘ve generated as the Director of Growth & Design there include: 1. 6 million in project budgets managed and delivered. Generated 20 brand concepts in one year for rapid brand expansion. Discovered and negotiated purchase agreements for acquisitions totalling $4 million. My ethos is to put people first, act with purpose, and play the long game. I believe that if you do the right thing and look after your teams, the rest will fall into place. I consider myself to be insatiably curious, an obsessive researcher, and an extremely fast learner, picking up new responsibilities and skills quickly with aplomb. I am not afraid to admit what I don’t know or ask for help, as it is the only way to advance in life and work. As a branding SME, I build and shepherd brands to their intended audiences with a people-first approach that engenders loyalty through a feeling of belonging rather than one of being marketed to. I believe in myself and in my ability to communicate through my words, actions, and follow-through, allowing people to collaborate with me with assurance. I look forward to applying my passion, dedication, and business acumen to my next professional endeavor.
