About Peter Stegger

I am a Senior Engineering Manager at LEGO, currently engaged in developing new products and crafting the future digital platform for play. My journey here has seen me transition from a Tech Lead, where I was deeply involved in creating tools for the development and production of new play experiences with a digital twist. Before I practiced software development at LEGO I taught it as an associate professor at Business Academy South West. Here I taught a range of computer science topics including full stack web development, game development (Unity3D), software design and cyber security. Though teaching I always put pride in practicing what I preached so every piece of theory I backed with practical examples. My academic foundation is a Master’s in IT, focusing on software construction with a specialty in information security, which now fuels my approach to innovation and security in digital play. Outside of work my time is spent with my family, diving into IT hobby projects and keeping pace with my running club. Each of these personal pursuits enriches my professional life, adding depth and creativity to my role in developing engaging and secure digital play experiences.
