I bring over 10 years of expertise in US Tax Compliance, currently working at Huddleston Tax CPA, specializing in individual, partnership, and S corporation tax matters for small and medium-sized clients in the Seattle region. Prior to joining Huddleston Tax CPA, I worked with EY, where I focused on Property & Casualty and Health & Life sectors. In addition to my tax responsibilities, I had the privilege of being part of the learning and development team. In this role, I contributed to the training program designed to impart tax technical knowledge to new and lateral hires, ensuring they were equipped with the skills necessary to excel in their roles. My responsibilities also included reviewing and preparing corporate and state returns, managing quarterly estimates, and extension preparation. Additionally, I embraced the challenge of learning about Collateralized Debt Obligation (CDO) and Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO), conducting CDO analysis, and generating PFIC statements. Before EY, I spent five years at Deloitte India's Hyderabad office, gaining extensive experience in U.S. individual, corporate, partnership, and state tax returns. I also had the opportunity to work onsite in the U.S. for 3.5 months, further enriching my understanding of US tax practices. My journey in the tax industry began at Xchanging Solutions in Bangalore, where I handled U.S. mortgage processes. This role involved communicating with U.S. tax offices to collect home mortgage information, laying the foundation for my tax career. Outside of work, I am an avid reader, a passionate cook, and enjoy long walks. These activities not only provide balance to my professional life but also inspire creativity and mindfulness.
