About Peter Strickland

With a background as a Judge Advocate in the United States Army, Peter guides clients through both internal and government investigations.Peter joined the Army’s Judge Advocate General Corps after completing law school, drawn to the exciting legal matters he could work on in the military. In his role as a judge advocate at Fort Riley, he advised government investigators conducting administrative investigations, coordinated with law enforcement on criminal investigations, represented the government at administrative hearings and assisted with federal prosecutions. He also devoted a significant portion of his time to advising Army commanders on regulatory compliance matters, ensuring the government and military remained in line with legal requirements.Peter found that he was particularly enthusiastic about investigative work and now handles similar matters in the private sector. He assists firm clients undergoing government investigations of alleged wrongdoing, advising the client throughout the process and representing them before government agencies and investigators. In addition, he conducts internal investigations for clients concerned about potential misconduct that could lead to government intervention. A logical, analytical thinker with a gift for finding solutions to complex problems, Peter thrives on digging into matters and helping clients determine their next steps, as well as how to prevent future incidents.His time in the Army instilled a solid work ethic and military discipline—as well as an ability to keep a cool head in high-intensity situations.
