About Peter Surrow

I have +20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry as a dedicated E&I surveyor, which have given me a solid and broad knowledge to E&I installations/equipment in the business and a similar solid knowledge to Danish and International legislation and standards in this field. In addition to the O&G business offshore wind has also been a part of my working life as well which has included many Danish and foreign offshore wind projects as a surveyor and as part of the facilitator teams (secretary) at offshore wind HAZID sessions. Further, I participated in the development and pioneering work (JIP) of the initial DNV standard, DNV-ST-0145, for offshore substations. I have been a team-leader for around 10 years for our Power section (ELSA) and ultimo 2020 I stepped in as Head of Section (HoS) for the Facility group (FACI). In July 2021 DNV reorganized to fit the demanding energy transition that every country are undergoing and I got the opportunity to also step in as HoS for two competent technical teams in Germany and Netherlands as well.
