I joined Harneys in 1997, became a partner in and was Global Head of Banking & Finance for many years. My client base comprises major financial institutions and corporates throughout the world. I am consistently ranked as one of the leading corporate lawyers in the jurisdiction by Chambers, IFLR and The Legal 500. Having been part of the senior partnership team overseeing Harneys Services I took over as head of the global operation in 2009. I sit on a number of government advisory committees and was particularly influential in the introduction of the Insolvency Act of 2003 as well as having significant input into the BVI Business Companies Act. Prior to Harneys I worked at the London office of Allen & Overy from 1990 to 1997, where I specialised in emerging market debt. I split my time between London and the BVI.
